Copies of diary entries by Ewing, re. her work at the Washington County (Ohio) Children's Home. Those dated 1857 to 1861 were published in the Marietta "Times" in 1926 as a memorial to Ewing. Also includes C.B. Galbreath's speech at the memorial service and articles about Ewing. Entries dated 1866 are in an unidentified speech which recounts passage of the legislation that year which created state supported children's homes.
